Hawaiian Islands 3D Printed Wall Art
$55.00

Holiday pricing in effect!

This is a detailed, highly accurate 3D art piece that replicates the islands of Hawaii. A paradise on earth, these islands have some of the most beautiful beaches and mountains in the entire world.

The model features exaggerated elevation, which brings out the detail of the topology, and looks fantastic on a wall or in your art project. Check out the video below for a better view!

These prints make a perfect gift for friends or family (or yourself) that have fond memories of their visit to the islands, or who dream of going there someday! Whether you're a hiker, swimmer, beachgoer, or just there to relax, everyone could use a reminder of island life, in their life.

The model is 3D printed using renewable PLA plastic. The full set is 37”x24” (normal size) or 40.5"x26.5" (large size) when mounted to scale. The Big Island is 1.8” tall (normal size) or 1.96" tall (large size), and everything else is to scale with that.

Your print will be carefully packaged so that no details are damaged in transit. I try to reuse packing materials as much as possible. Be aware that these models feature fine details of the island peaks, so treat it with care. Do not expose it to temperatures above 120°F or the plastic may deform.

Note: These prints are made to order, so lead times may vary depending on the number of orders we receive. They are 3D-printed and not cast in a mold, so there may be small differences and imperfections from item to item.

Mt Hood Model 3D Printed
from $14.00

Highly detailed and accurate 3D-printed model of Mt Hood, in Oregon, United States. A favorite of hikers and snow sports enthusiasts, this mountain is visible on a clear day all the way from Portland, calling you to its slopes.

A purchase will give you a printed model of your chosen size (width measured in inches), with a variation of 1-to-1 elevation scaling or exaggerated elevation. The 1-to-1 elevation scaling is flatter, and is the perfect piece for your wall. The exaggerated elevation version brings out the detail of the cracks and crags of the mountain, and looks fantastic on a desk, coffee table, or mantel.

These prints make a perfect gift for friends or family that live for the weekends on the trails and slopes.

I created these models from elevation data using custom software I wrote, alongside open source tools. They are 3D printed using renewable PLA plastic.

What’s this about?

This all started with a Christmas present for a dear friend of mine, originally a print of Broken Top, a mountain we'd summited together many years ago. I quickly realized how much enjoyment I got out of making these models, and also that I wanted others to have them as well! There's nothing that brings you back to a hike or vacation more than seeing the geography in front of you.
